Scoil Mocheallóg has a long tradition of drama. All classes use Drama as a teaching strategy. We also have some amazing performances during the school year.
Every Christmas, all classes from Junior Infants to 2nd class put on a Christmas concert. Family and friends attend. It is always a festive and entertaining occasion.
Every year, Mr. English produces a drama with 5th Class This production is held in the Spring and is staged at Friar’s Gate Theatre, Sarsfield Street. The standard of acting in this show always ensures a great night. Mr English tries to link the play to a theme the pupils are studying in History where possible.
