From September 2019, Nutella and all products containing nuts are strictly banned from our school. This is being introduced as we have children in the school with severe nut allergies. Your help and co-operation is greatly appreciated.

We receive a free food snack on a daily basis provided by the Department of Education. This food is delivered daily by our food supplier Carambola who follow strict government guidelines with regards to nutrition. Each class teacher chooses the food for his/her own class and change the selection regularly.

If you have any queries about this, please consult with your class teacher.

Filtered water is now provided in all classrooms in the school.

Your child is only in school for 4.40 to 5.40 hours each day. We ask that during these hours, healthy food only is eaten. The following lists may be helpful:

As we are a green school, we are currently trying to reduce the amounts of tinfoil, cling film and single use bottles being used in our school. We ask pupils to use a reusable bottle and to bring a lunchbox for sandwiches etc. All rubbish from lunches is to be brought home. For this reason please do not give your child a large yogurt that he / she will not finish. Capri sun drinks are also a bad idea as they cannot be closed once opened.

Your help and cooperation in making lunchtime both ‘Healthy and Green’ is greatly appreciated.
