Scoil Mocheallóg has a long tradition in both Hurling / Camogie and Gaelic Football. Both boys and girls train after school preparing for school competitions.
The girls in the senior classes take part annually in a Gaelic Football competition which takes place in October and November. In 2019 our team was very successful and won the South Final. They went on to the County Finals where they performed fantastically.
The boys also play Gaelic Football for the school. We have had great success over the years and won the south Final a few years ago
